What Type Of Therapy Do You Practise:
Thought field therapy

I Specialise In:

I have worked as a general registered nurse registered midwife and currently, I’m a sister on a neonatal intensive care unit where I have worked for 29 years.

I decided to become a clinical hypnotherapist to specialise in the areas I felt that was lacking in help and support I love my profession working in a neonatal unit so have transferred my skills into hypnotherapy I also recognise the lack of support for NHS workers as its a hard profession and I understand the culture and environment we work in and have already helped clients that work in the NHS and also offer a 10% discount

I also offer support and coping strategies for vestibular as there is a lack of support and understanding for this condition

I specialise in the following:

Mild depression,
Support with IVF,
Relaxation session with your baby (up to 12wks of age) mum or dad,
Support for NHS staff,
Relaxation for parents with babies in NICU,
Bereavement support.
Hypno pregnancy,
Postnatal depression,
Vestibular migraine,
Support and coping strategies,
Menopause symptoms,
Menopause coping strategies

How Exactly Does Your Therapy Work?:

I am a registered general nurse, worked as a midwife for 9 years and am now a sister on a neonatal intensive care unit where I have worked for 29 years.

I am aware of the pressures and stress of having a new baby for both parents so I offer a session where either mum or dad can have a relaxation session with their baby up to 12 weeks of age. I have an offering to new dads as well as they often feel left out.

I offer support with breastfeeding as research shows milk supply can increase by up to 70% with hypnotherapy this is important in today’s climate and if your baby is in intensive care where I also offer support to those parents as I understand the pressures and stresses placed on those parents.

I also recognise that support for NHS staff is not available so offer relaxation and coping strategies to cope in the environment and culture we have to work in and offering a 10% discount for all NHS staff.

I offer support and coping strategies for anyone suffering from vestibular migraine as this has a big impact on your life .making daily life difficult leading to anxiety and depression. My hypnotherapy business is different from most therapists as I have taken areas of my expertise into my hypnotherapy to benefit the clients that I help

What worries might a client have before contacting you to book :
Clients may be anxious and scared as often they have not spoken to anyone else about their issues, feelings of not coping and being overwhelmed Its a difficult move making that phone call talking to someone else you don’t know and putting your faith in therapy you know little about I offer a calm empathetic safe confidential environment and listen to what my client says to devise a treatment plan that is individually tailored to their needs. my client may have worries of as a therapist I cannot make them do or say anything they would not normally do]being out of control and doing and saying things they would never normally say but in hypnotherapy, the client is always in control.
